A typical speed limit sign in the United State...

I think I have a problem. I only had to use the gas pedal about three times on the way to work today. ( I t is a 20 mile drive, mostly on the interstate.) I did however have to make frequent use of my brakes. And in town could barely keep the car under the 30 mph speed limit.

This happened once before. It lasted about a day and a half. Just long enough for me to start to schedule an appointment and then stopped. I am sure it is a sensor or some such thing with the gas line/pedal. Although the engine is revving high, it isn’t racing over 2k until I put it into Park.

It is using a TON of gas.

Huh, wish I knew a mechanic I could ask to look at it. 🙂
