Well, Princess Girl started her sophomore year of high school yesterday by purposefully breaking the dress code. It was only a two hour day. And technically they had not received the handbooks outlining the dress code until yesterday at school.
But she knew. And did it anyway. And I let her.
The sundress she wore was adorable. Knee length, white linen, SPAGHETTI STRAPS. Yep, you guessed it. That was the violation. But it was only two hours of school and it was the first day. You always have to be as cute as possible on the first day back. A couple teachers mentioned the problem to her. She acknowledged and went on about her business.
Today, the sundress she is wearing is fully within dress code. Two whole fingers on those sleeves. And she looks fabulous.
